Upcoming performances

I’ll be giving a piano recital including my new piece Noctuary and six preludes, among other works, on Monday, June 23 at 8pm in the Westbeth in Greenwich VIllage, NYC (55 Bethune St).

Also, my piece for cello and harpsichord, Mareas, will be performed at the Staunton Music Festival on August 18, in Staunton, Virginia.

Upcoming performances

Symphony No. 2 will be premiered in San Diego, CA, by the SDSU Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Michael Gerdes, on October 15. This 25-minute, two movement work was commissioned by Michael for the orchestra. Subtitled "Vana," the Sanskrit word for forest, it is the first in a series of works inspired by Earth's endangered ecosystems. More about the piece, and a video, will be posted later.

Reef, a new commissioned work for L+M Duo, will be premiered at the James Madison University Contemporary Music Festival on October 25. L+M Duo consists of Laurel Black, marimba, and Marianne Parker, piano.
